Project Overview
The Cole Reserve Sports Field Upgrade was undertaken to deliver a high-performance natural turf playing surface designed to support intensive community use. The project focused on improving drainage, irrigation efficiency, and overall field condition to provide a safe, durable, and visually enhanced facility aligned with modern council standards.
Scope Of Works
Works included site clearing and bulk earthworks to regrade the field, installation of a comprehensive subsurface drainage network with sand slit system, and construction of a sand-based turf profile. A new automated irrigation system and supporting pump, tank, and filtration infrastructure were installed. The surface was finished with Santa Ana couch turf, along with associated works including fencing, player shelters, and ancillary infrastructure.
