Project Overview
The Banksia Park Sports Field Upgrade was undertaken to deliver a high-quality, durable natural turf playing surface that meets contemporary council and community sporting standards. The project focused on improving surface playability, drainage performance, and long-term turf resilience to support increased usage levels while reducing maintenance requirements.
Scope Of Works
Works included regarding the existing field, installing a prepared turf profile over a drained subgrade, and constructing a subsurface drainage system connected to the stormwater network. A fully automated irrigation system was installed to provide efficient coverage across the playing surface. The field was finished with high-quality turf and completed with an establishment period to achieve a durable, high-performance playing surface.
